What counts as an "active learner"? +
An active learner is any user who logs in, completes a course module, or earns a credential in a given billing cycle. Inactive users in your roster (graduates, former employees, archived members) don't count toward your tier limit — only people actually using the platform.
What happens if I exceed my plan's learner cap? +
Nothing breaks. You'll get an email at 90% and 100% utilization with a one-click upgrade option, or you can pay overage on a per-learner basis ($4/mo on Starter, $3/mo on Essentials, $2/mo on Scale). We never block learners mid-course or hide a paywall behind a credential.
Can I switch plans mid-cycle? +
Yes. Upgrades are prorated and take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, with any unused credit applied. No retention call, no friction.
Is there a discount for annual billing? +
Yes — annual billing saves you roughly 17% across all tiers (two months free). Starter drops from $79/mo to an effective $66/mo, Essentials from $249 to $208, and Scale from $599 to $499.
Do you offer non-profit or association discounts? +
We do. Registered 501(c)(3) non-profits and professional associations receive 25% off any tier. Send a copy of your determination letter to billing@edaxu.com and we'll apply the discount before your first invoice.
What's included in the 30-day trial? +
Everything on the Essentials plan, with up to 50 learners. No credit card required. At the end of the trial you can pick any plan (including Starter), continue on Essentials, or walk away with a full data export.
How do team portals get priced? +
On the Scale plan you can spin up unlimited portals — separate sub-accounts for business units, departments, or external client organizations — at no extra cost. Each portal can have its own branding (logo, colors, subdomain) and its own admin team. Custom CNAME domains (learn.yoursite.com) are an Enterprise feature.
Can I cancel anytime? +
Yes. Cancellation is one click in your billing settings, no email or call required. We don't pro-rate refunds on annual plans, but you keep access through the end of your paid term and can export all data at any time.
